Building rules in Madhya Pradesh

One set of rules for the state, consolidated to March 2025. MP calls setbacks marginal open spaces, and keys everything below 12.5 m on street width, plot area and building type. Above 12.5 m it switches entirely: road width sets a minimum plot size, a minimum frontage, the FAR and the height together.

In short

Across the rules published for Madhya Pradesh: FAR up to 3, with 4 more purchasable, ground coverage 25–35%, height up to 90 m, front setback from 3 m. Each figure below carries the clause it comes from.
