Uttar Pradesh replaced the Building Byelaws 2008 with the Model Building Construction and Development Byelaws and Model Zoning Regulations for Development Authorities of Uttar Pradesh, 2025, issued by the Housing & Urban Planning Department on 3 July 2025. Appendix-1 of the 2025 document lists the 2008 byelaws and every one of their amendments — 2011, 2016, 2017 and 2018 — as fully superseded, by notification number. Lucknow Development Authority now publishes the 2025 byelaws ahead of the 2008 text on its own byelaws page. Every figure previously shown here came from the superseded instrument and has been withdrawn.
