Floor Area Ratio is the total built floor area permitted on a plot, as a multiple of the plot itself. These are the rules that set it, and the ones that decide what does not count towards it.

A Continuous Building Area takes up to 16 dwellings or up to 300 m² of commercial use. An EWS Area takes up to 16 dwellings but no commercial allowance is stated against it. In other areas the ceiling follows the road: up to 8 dwellings on a road of 3.0 to 6.0 m, and up to 16 dwellings or 300 m² of commercial use once the road reaches 6.0 m. Maximum FSI is 2.0 across all four columns.
