Clearance from the Airports Authority of India or the Indian Air Force is required where the building is 15 m or taller, or where the site falls in the red zone of the colour-coded map.

450 mm above the crown of the adjoining road in front, or as specified by the competent authority. A detached building may sit higher, but the front courtyard may not exceed 450 mm and the ramp up from the road must stay inside the plot boundary.
Maximum permissible height is 11 m measured from the plinth level of the building.
